What do women’s individual experiences, documented in travel diaries, memoirs, and court records, tell us about their voices, the Revolutionary War and its legacy? Discover the documents and objects related to stories about Revolutionary women in the Museum’s core exhibition, including exciting new research on how Elizabeth Freeman, an enslaved woman from Massachusetts, sued for her freedom (and won). Presentation includes lunch and Q&A with a Museum educator. RSVP deadline is 2/11/19.
